St Nicholas, Boarhunt

St Nicholas Boarhunt, situated on the Portsdown Hill near Portsmouth, is a fine example of a small Saxon church. It consists of a name and chancel with a much later open bell turret. Due to extensive re-plastering and reworking of the stonework, no historical graffiti was found in the interior of the building.

On the exterior, a small cross was found on each side of the blocked North doorway; the image below shows the cross on the west side of the doorway.

No other graffiti was found.
